Save the Scotia Post Office – Last Chance

A public meeting has been scheduled for 6:00 PM,  November 5th at the Scotia-Glenville Middle School Auditorium.

The Scotia Post Office was founded in 1824 with its current Colonial Revival home completed in 1940. In 1989 the Scotia Post Office was recognized in the National Register of Historic Places.

If you care about having  a walk-in Post Office convenient to all residents tell your friends, family, neighbors and anyone you know to come to this meeting. Let your voices be heard and heads be counted.

When municipal officials go to downtown revitalization planning meetings, the planning professionals invariably advise: "Don't let them close your Post Office". The Post Office generates subtantial traffic that impacts all the stores in the area.
