Waterfront Study Committee

I'm pleased that the village will move forward with improvements to our waterfront but also acknowledges that the recent stuff by Synthesis was a little too futuristic. I hope the committee will look towards realistic improvements to a waterfront which is already very active and enjoyable.

About is intended to be a guide to information available on the Internet for the Village of Scotia, NY. Created and maintained locally by BillP Studios this site is intended to be useful for residents as well as our visitors. Most photos are property of BillP Studios and may not be reproduced for commercial use without permission.

Sometimes called the "unofficial" village website, is privately operated and is a non-profit operation. While we actively support our local government and its officials, the Village of Scotia has no authority or control over the content.

Our primary goal is to promote the Village of Scotia and provide a one stop online location that consolidates content into an easy to use format. While Scotia New York may not be an international tourist destination our residents and shop owners take great pride in what Scotia has to offer. Tree lined streets, award winning schools and large community parks make Scotia a wonderful place for a peaceful retirement or to raise a new family.
