Grease Rocked Freedom Park

Grease by Center Stage Productions

As I mentioned last week, I was really looking forward to the production of Grease by Center Stage Productions. The local stage group performed again this year for three nights at Freedom Park.  The crowd has tripled from previous years  and the talent from our own local performers was amazing.

Thanks to memberships, donations and sponsors like Time Warner Cable, Buhrmaster Energy Group and River Stone Manor the show was entirely FREE!! to all who attended.  This year I signed BillP Studios up to sponsor Burners U. K. but perhaps next year I’ll throw more support to the folks at Center Stage Productions.

I’ve uploaded some photos from Friday and Sundays show.

This year the Freedom Park Foundation has scheduled over 30 excellent shows this year but there’s one weekend I always look forward to the most.  This weekend, Center Stage Productions will  take the stage with their presentation of Grease!  Music in the park is wonderful but add some young actors and its a show you won’t want to miss.  Performances start at 7 PM on Friday, Saturday and Sunday night.

Best Fireworks Ever

Jumpin' Jack's Drive In
Special thanks to Mark Lansing and Jumpin’ Jack’s for one of the biggest and best fireworks I can remember. Every time we thought it was the finale, it would just continue and do it all again.

Jumpin' Jack's Fireworks

Just a reminder, this years Independence Day Fireworks in the park were rescheduled for Friday, July 14th!

My advice is to come early, bring bug spray and don’t plan on getting out quickly.  Parking will be a premium. Music at Freedom Park will be provided by the Riverview Ramblers.
