Save the Scotia Post Office – Last Chance

A public meeting has been scheduled for 6:00 PM,  November 5th at the Scotia-Glenville Middle School Auditorium.

The Scotia Post Office was founded in 1824 with its current Colonial Revival home completed in 1940. In 1989 the Scotia Post Office was recognized in the National Register of Historic Places.

If you care about having  a walk-in Post Office convenient to all residents tell your friends, family, neighbors and anyone you know to come to this meeting. Let your voices be heard and heads be counted.

Every year the great folks in the Fire Department help celebrate Halloween with the traditional cider and donut wagon. This year will be no different and here is the list of stop where you can come meet your neighbors and enjoy some free cider and donuts.

We are asking that all residents celebrate Halloween between the hours of 4 P.M. and 8 P.M. on Saturday, October 31st, 2009.
We would ask that children complete their "Trick or Treating" and that residents turn off their front porch lights at 8 P.M.
